Our client is seeking a meticulous and efficient Administrative Officer to join their team in Edinburgh . This role is central to supporting the operational effectiveness of the department by managing key administrative processes and ensuring high standards of organisation. You will be responsible for a range of duties that contribute to the smooth running of the office environment, providing essential support to colleagues and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain departmental records, databases, and filing systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Process incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and internal memos.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing action points.
- Provide administrative support to senior management and other team members as required.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities, ensuring operational readiness.
- Handle telephone inquiries, directing calls and messages appropriately and professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an Administrative Officer or similar role, demonstrating a strong track record.
- Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines consistently.
