About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Administrative Officer to manage and coordinate office activities and procedures in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is essential for optimising workflow, managing office space, and ensuring that the office environment is efficient and productive. The ideal candidate will be a highly organised professional with a keen eye for detail and the ability to handle a wide range of administrative and operational tasks. You will play a key part in supporting the team, maintaining records, and implementing office policies and procedures to enhance the overall functioning of the business, ensuring a high standard of administrative support across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement office procedures and policies to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage office supplies inventory and coordinate with vendors for procurement.
- Oversee the maintenance of office facilities, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
- Coordinate internal and external communications, including drafting memos and emails.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other important documents.

Requirements
- Previous experience in an Administrative Officer or similar senior administrative role.
- Strong understanding of office management systems and procedures.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite.
