About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and artistic Advanced Permanent Makeup Artist to join their specialist clinic in Edinburgh . You will be responsible for creating natural-looking permanent makeup solutions, including microblading, powder brows, eyeliner, and lip blush, using state-of-the-art techniques and equipment. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong understanding of facial aesthetics, and a commitment to providing clients with confidence-boosting results, working in a modern and hygienic clinic environment dedicated to the highest standards of client care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed consultations with clients to assess suitability and design custom permanent makeup procedures.
• Execute precise permanent makeup techniques such as microblading, powder brows, lip blush, and permanent eyeliner.
• Ensure adherence to strict hygiene, sterilization, and cross-contamination prevention protocols.
• Provide clients with comprehensive pre- and post-treatment care instructions.
• Maintain accurate client records, including treatment details, pigment choices, and follow-up plans.
• Stay informed about evolving trends and advancements in permanent makeup artistry and technology.

Requirements

• Certified Permanent Makeup Artist with relevant accreditations and training.
• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience performing advanced permanent makeup procedures.
• Proficiency in a variety of techniques, including microblading, powder brows, and eyeliner.
• Strong understanding of colour theory, skin types, and facial anatomy.
• Excellent artistic skills and a portfolio demonstrating high-quality work.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and safety training.
