Adventure Sports Centre Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic and experienced Adventure Sports Centre Manager to lead operations at their premier facility in Nottingham . This role demands a leader with a strong background in outdoor activities, a commitment to safety, and excellent management skills. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the centre, including staffing, program delivery, facility maintenance, and ensuring an exceptional experience for visitors engaging in activities such as climbing, zip-lining, and team-building exercises within the Leisure & Sports sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the adventure sports centre, ensuring high standards of safety and customer service.
• Develop, implement, and manage a diverse range of adventure activities and programs.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise a team of instructors and operational staff.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest safety standards and that all activities comply with relevant regulations.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for revenue generation and service improvement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, local authorities, and community partners.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing an outdoor or adventure sports facility.
• Strong knowledge of various adventure sports, including safety protocols and risk management.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Experience in budget management and operational planning.
• Relevant certifications in outdoor adventure activities and first aid (e.g., First Aid at Work, relevant NGB awards).
