Adventure Sports Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Adventure Sports Coordinator to manage and develop their range of outdoor and adventure activities in and around Nottingham . This role involves planning, organising, and delivering exciting and safe adventure experiences for individuals and groups within the Leisure & Sports sector. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety, equipment maintenance, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the outdoors, strong organisational skills, and practical experience in various adventure sports.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate a variety of adventure sports activities, including climbing, kayaking, and cycling tours.
• Ensure all activities are conducted safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and risk assessments.
• Manage and maintain all necessary equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and meets safety standards.
• Recruit, train, and supervise adventure sports guides and instructors.
• Develop new adventure programmes and experiences to enhance the offering.
• Handle bookings, customer inquiries, and provide information on activities and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in organising and delivering adventure sports activities.
• Relevant qualifications in specific adventure sports (e.g., climbing instructor, kayaking leader).
• Strong understanding of risk management and safety protocols in outdoor environments.
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
• First Aid certification is essential.
