About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Aerospace Project Manager to lead critical projects within their innovative division located near Cambridge . This role demands a blend of technical understanding, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex aerospace initiatives on time and within budget. You will oversee project lifecycles, manage cross-functional teams, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and close aerospace projects, defining scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure project completion within constraints.
• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders, including suppliers and clients, to ensure alignment and progress.
• Provide regular project status updates and comprehensive reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical) or a related field; Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the aerospace or defence industry.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex technical projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong understanding of aerospace systems, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for managing diverse teams in the Cambridge area.
