About the Role

Our client seeks a detail-oriented Aerospace Quality Inspector to join their manufacturing and assembly operations in Coventry . This role is pivotal in ensuring that all aircraft components and finished products meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, verifying compliance with specifications, and identifying any non-conforming materials or processes. Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of aerospace parts and assemblies using various measuring instruments.
• Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Document inspection results accurately, identify non-conformances, and initiate corrective action procedures.
• Calibrate and maintain inspection and measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Conduct audits of manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to quality management systems.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within the aerospace or a highly regulated manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, statistical process control (SPC), and Lean manufacturing concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and quality standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Relevant quality certifications (e.g., AS9100 awareness) are a plus.
