Aerospace Quality Inspector

About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Aerospace Quality Inspector to join their manufacturing facility in Bradford . In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all manufactured aerospace components and assemblies meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will conduct inspections, tests, and measurements using a variety of precision equipment, identifying and documenting any non-conformities. Your dedication to quality is essential for maintaining the integrity and safety of the products within the aviation industry. This position requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of excellence in aerospace manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished aerospace products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify compliance with specifications.
• Identify, document, and report non-conforming products and initiate corrective action procedures.
• Review production records, quality control documentation, and test results for accuracy.
• Ensure all inspection activities adhere to AS9100 and other relevant aerospace quality standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in the aerospace or a closely related manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools such as CMMs, micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Strong understanding of aerospace quality standards, including AS9100.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
