Key Responsibilities
- Perform stress analysis and structural design of aircraft components using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software.
- Develop detailed structural designs and create technical drawings and specifications.
- Conduct structural testing, analyze results, and document findings.
- Ensure designs comply with aerospace standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and assembly teams to ensure successful implementation of structural designs.
- Identify opportunities for structural optimization to reduce weight and improve performance.
Requirements
- Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering with a specialization in structures.
- Significant experience in aerospace structural analysis and design.
- Proficiency in FEA software (e.g., NASTRAN, ANSYS) and CAD tools.
- Solid understanding of material science, fatigue, fracture mechanics, and composite structures.
- Knowledge of aerospace certification processes and airworthiness requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
