About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Aerospace Systems Engineer to join their innovative team in Manchester . This role involves the design, development, integration, and testing of complex aerospace systems for a variety of cutting-edge projects. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the entire lifecycle of aerospace products, from conceptual design to final validation. This hybrid position offers a blend of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility, ideal for an engineer who thrives in a team-oriented environment while valuing focused, independent work on challenging technical problems within the vibrant aerospace hub of Manchester .
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate complex aerospace systems, including hardware and software components.
- Conduct system analysis, requirements definition, and trade studies to determine optimal solutions.
- Develop and execute test plans and procedures for system validation and verification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, software) to ensure seamless system integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in aerospace systems engineering , with a strong understanding of system architecture and integration.
- Proficiency in system modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
- Experience with requirements management tools and processes.
- Familiarity with relevant aerospace standards and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
