After School Club Leader

About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic and responsible After School Club Leader to manage their provision in Liverpool . This role involves planning and delivering engaging activities for primary school-aged children in a safe and supportive environment after school hours. You will be responsible for the well-being of the children, coordinating activities, and communicating with parents. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and contributing to their positive after-school experiences, fostering their social skills and providing a fun, stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and lead a variety of fun and educational activities for children aged 4-11.
• Ensure the safety, welfare, and security of all children attending the club.
• Supervise children effectively and manage group dynamics.
• Liaise with parents regarding their child's attendance, behaviour, and activities.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and manage basic administrative tasks for the club.

Requirements

• Experience working with children, particularly in an after-school or youth club setting.
• A passion for engaging children in positive activities and supporting their development.
• Knowledge of safeguarding children procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
