After School Club Leader

About the Role

Our client is seeking a responsible and energetic After School Club Leader to manage their vibrant club in Glasgow . You will be responsible for the supervision and engagement of children aged 4-12 years in a fun and safe environment after school hours. This role involves planning and delivering a range of stimulating activities, ensuring the children's well-being and providing a positive end to their school day. It's a great opportunity for individuals with a passion for youth work and childcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver a variety of engaging recreational, creative, and educational activities for children.
• Ensure the safety, welfare, and security of all children attending the club.
• Manage a team of assistants, providing guidance and support.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's attendance and any relevant information.
• Maintain appropriate records of attendance, incidents, and activity participation.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children, preferably in an after-school or youth club setting.
• Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures in childcare.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Paediatric First Aid certification is highly desirable.
