Agile Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic Agile Project Manager to join their vibrant team in Newcastle upon Tyne . You will be responsible for guiding project teams through the full lifecycle of projects, ensuring alignment with agile methodologies and delivering high-quality outcomes. This role is crucial in fostering a collaborative environment where innovation and efficient execution are paramount. You will work closely with product owners, development teams, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, contributing to the strategic goals of the organization through effective project leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage project scope, timelines, resources, and budgets in an agile framework.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies, proactively addressing roadblocks.
• Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment, empowering team members.
• Communicate project status, risks, and successes to stakeholders at various levels.
• Ensure the continuous improvement of agile processes and team performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles, practices, and various frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Certification such as CSM or PMP is a plus.
