About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Agile Project Manager to enhance their project delivery capabilities in Stoke-on-Trent . This role focuses on guiding software development and IT projects using agile methodologies, ensuring rapid iteration, continuous feedback, and successful product delivery. You will be responsible for facilitating agile processes, removing impediments, and fostering a collaborative team environment to achieve project goals efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor development teams on agile principles and practices to improve performance and self-organization.
- Identify and remove impediments blocking the team's progress, escalating issues when necessary.
- Manage project backlogs, ensure requirements are clearly defined and prioritized, and track progress against sprint goals.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project scope and deliverables for Stoke-on-Trent based teams.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and adapt processes based on team feedback and project outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master in a software development environment.
- Solid understanding of agile frameworks, such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with agile project management tools like Jira or Trello.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar agile certification is highly preferred.
