Agile Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic Agile Project Manager to join their innovative team in Birmingham . You will be instrumental in guiding multiple project teams through the execution of projects using Agile methodologies, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. This role involves close interaction with development teams, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of software and business solutions. We are looking for an individual passionate about Agile principles and practices, committed to continuous improvement, and capable of balancing project delivery with team enablement in a hybrid working model .

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach and mentor Agile team members to ensure adherence to Agile principles and best practices.
• Manage project scope, schedules, and resources, ensuring transparency and predictability.
• Identify and remove impediments blocking team progress, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Track project progress using Agile metrics and tools, reporting on status to senior management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
• Experience with project management tools like Jira or Asana.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certification is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid office and remote setting.
