Agricultural Technician - Soil Science Focus

About the Role

Our client is seeking an adept Agricultural Technician with a specialization in soil science to join their innovative agricultural research and development team in Edinburgh . This role will involve conducting detailed soil analysis, developing soil health management plans, and advising on nutrient application and land remediation strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze soil samples for physical, chemical, and biological properties.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Soil Science, Agronomy, Environmental Science, or a related agricultural discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in soil analysis and agricultural consulting.
• Proficiency in using laboratory equipment for soil testing and analysis.
• Strong understanding of soil chemistry, physics, and biology.
• Excellent data analysis and report writing skills.
• Familiarity with GIS and agricultural data management software is a plus.
