Agricultural Technician

About the Role

Our client is looking for a practical and detail-oriented Agricultural Technician to support their farming operations in Bradford . This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and productivity of the farm by ensuring all equipment is in good working order, assisting with crop management tasks, and supporting the wider farm team. You will work closely with the Farm Manager and other specialists to carry out routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and contribute to the successful execution of daily farm activities. This is a hands-on position requiring a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and minor repairs on farm machinery and equipment.
• Assist in planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops according to established schedules.
• Operate tractors, combines, and other farm vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Monitor crop health and assist with the application of fertilizers and pesticides under supervision.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and farm activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a mechanical or agricultural support role.
