About the Role

Our client is building a world-class AI team and seeks a dedicated AI Ethics and Governance Specialist to ensure responsible innovation. Operating in a fully remote capacity, this critical role will develop and implement frameworks, policies, and best practices to guide the ethical development and deployment of artificial intelligence technologies. You will play a key part in fostering trust and accountability within our AI initiatives, working closely with legal, compliance, and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement AI ethics guidelines, policies, and governance frameworks.
Conduct ethical risk assessments for AI projects and provide mitigation strategies.
Advise on compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards related to AI.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed ethical considerations into the AI development lifecycle.
Create training materials and deliver workshops on AI ethics and responsible AI practices.
Monitor emerging ethical challenges and societal impacts of AI technologies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Law, Policy, Ethics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, or technology governance.
Strong understanding of AI principles, machine learning concepts, and their societal implications.
Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, AI Act).
Excellent analytical, research, and policy development skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
