Our client is seeking a highly experienced AI Ethics and Policy Advisor to join their organization in a fully remote capacity. This crucial role involves developing and implementing ethical guidelines and policies for AI development and deployment. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and update comprehensive AI ethics policies and frameworks.
- Advise senior leadership and technical teams on ethical considerations and risk mitigation strategies for AI projects.
- Conduct research and analysis on the societal implications of AI technologies.
- Monitor and interpret emerging AI regulations, standards, and best practices globally.
- Facilitate discussions and workshops on AI ethics with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure that AI systems are developed and deployed in a fair, transparent, and accountable manner.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Law, Ethics, Public Policy, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in AI ethics, technology policy, or responsible innovation.
- In-depth understanding of AI/ML principles and their ethical and societal impacts.
- Expertise in national and international AI policy and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive policy implementation.
