About the Role
Our client is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable AI Ethics Specialist to join their pioneering team. This is a fully remote position, enabling you to contribute to the responsible development of AI from anywhere. You will play a crucial role in shaping our ethical guidelines, conducting impact assessments, and ensuring our AI technologies are fair, transparent, and accountable. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine ethical frameworks and guidelines for AI development and deployment.
- Conduct AI ethics impact assessments and identify potential risks and mitigation strategies.
- Advise AI research and engineering teams on best practices for fairness, accountability, and transparency.
- Monitor regulatory developments and industry best practices in AI ethics globally.
- Contribute to internal and external communications on the company's commitment to responsible AI.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Law, Data Science, or a related field with a focus on technology ethics.
- Demonstrated understanding of AI principles , machine learning concepts, and potential ethical challenges.
- Experience in policy analysis, risk assessment, or ethical review processes.
- Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
