About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated AI Ethics Specialist to join their growing team in Belfast . In this crucial role, you will help shape the responsible development and deployment of artificial intelligence technologies, ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability. You will work across various departments to establish ethical guidelines, conduct impact assessments, and advise on best practices for AI systems. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical frameworks and guidelines for AI development and deployment.
- Conduct ethical risk assessments and bias audits for AI models and systems.
- Advise engineering and product teams on best practices for AI fairness, accountability, and transparency (FAT).
- Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends in AI ethics and governance.
- Educate internal stakeholders on AI ethics principles and responsibilities.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Philosophy, Law, Ethics, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on AI ethics.
- Demonstrated understanding of AI/ML concepts and their societal implications.
- Experience in policy development, risk assessment, or compliance roles.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
