About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled AI Infrastructure Engineer to build and maintain the robust, scalable infrastructure required to support their cutting-edge AI initiatives. This fully remote role is critical for enabling the company's AI research and development efforts. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing the hardware, software, and cloud environments that power machine learning models and AI applications. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud-based infrastructure for AI/ML workloads.
- Deploy and maintain distributed systems, containerization platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Optimize infrastructure performance for training large-scale machine learning models.
- Monitor system health, performance, and security, and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to understand their infrastructure needs.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and workflows, and the infrastructure they require.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
