About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented AI Platform Engineer to join their fully remote team and build the infrastructure that powers their next-generation AI initiatives. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining the scalable, reliable, and efficient platforms that enable data scientists and ML engineers to build, train, and deploy models seamlessly. You will be instrumental in creating robust MLOps pipelines, managing cloud resources, and ensuring the smooth operation of our AI services. Working remotely, you will collaborate with diverse, globally distributed teams, contributing to cutting-edge advancements in AI and emerging technologies and fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable AI infrastructure, including data pipelines, model repositories, and compute clusters.
- Develop and automate MLOps workflows for continuous integration, continuous deployment, and model monitoring.
- Manage and optimize cloud resources (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for AI/ML workloads.
- Implement security best practices and ensure the reliability and performance of AI platforms.
- Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to understand their needs and provide effective platform solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on cloud infrastructure or MLOps.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and workflows.
