About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and precise Aircraft Avionics Technician to join their maintenance team in Sheffield . This role is essential for maintaining the complex electronic systems that are critical for aircraft operation, navigation, and communication. You will be responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, and repair of avionics equipment, ensuring all work meets stringent aviation standards. Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, and repair aircraft avionic systems, including communication, navigation, and flight control systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic system faults using specialized test equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings to perform maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all work performed complies with manufacturer specifications, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance, repair, and testing activities.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Avionics Technician or similar role.
• Relevant technical qualification or certification in avionics or electronics.
• Proficiency in using electronic test equipment and diagnostic software.
• Strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems and avionic principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
