Aircraft Cabin Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Aircraft Cabin Engineer to contribute to their cabin interiors team in Nottingham . This role focuses on the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of aircraft cabin systems, including seating, galleys, lavatories, and in-flight entertainment (IFE) systems. You will ensure that cabin environments meet safety, comfort, and aesthetic standards, working with a team dedicated to enhancing the passenger experience. This position offers a chance to apply your engineering skills to the sophisticated interiors of modern aircraft, with the flexibility of a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on aircraft cabin components and systems, such as seating, IFE, and lighting.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues within cabin electrical and mechanical systems.
• Install and upgrade cabin amenities and equipment according to specifications.
• Ensure all cabin work complies with aviation safety regulations and cabin interior standards.
• Collaborate with design teams and suppliers on cabin refurbishment projects.
• Maintain accurate records of all cabin maintenance and modifications performed.

Requirements

• Experience in aircraft maintenance, with a focus on cabin interiors or related systems.
• Knowledge of aircraft cabin systems, including electrical, mechanical, and IT components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
• Proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment relevant to cabin systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting in Nottingham .
