About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Aircraft Electrical Systems Technician to join their maintenance team in Edinburgh . Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of aircraft electrical systems, including power generation, distribution, and control systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using specialized diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
• Repair or replace faulty electrical components, wiring, and connectors according to specifications.
• Install new electrical equipment and systems on aircraft as required for upgrades or modifications.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, company policies, and aviation regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities conducted on electrical systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Electrical Systems Technician or equivalent role.
• Strong understanding of aircraft electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic software.
• Familiarity with aviation safety standards and best practices for electrical work.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and manual dexterity.
• Relevant technical certifications or an apprenticeship in aviation electrical systems are highly desirable.
