About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Aircraft Electrical Systems Technician to join their maintenance team in Norwich . This role involves the installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electrical systems and components on various aircraft types. You will ensure the optimal functioning of power generation, distribution, lighting, and electronic systems, adhering to the highest standards of safety and airworthiness. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aircraft electrical principles, experience with diagnostic tools, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship in a demanding aviation environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical system installations, modifications, and repairs on aircraft according to technical specifications and manuals.
• Conduct detailed inspections and diagnostics of aircraft electrical systems, including power units, wiring harnesses, and avionics interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, shorts, and open circuits using appropriate test equipment.
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and maintenance documentation.
• Replace or repair faulty electrical components, wiring, and connectors.
• Document all maintenance activities, test results, and parts used in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and airworthiness directives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Electrical Systems Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical theory, systems, and components.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., EASA Part-66 module in electrical systems) are highly desirable.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
