About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified Aircraft Electrician to join their engineering team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is critical for maintaining the complex electrical systems of various aircraft, ensuring their safe and reliable operation. You will be responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, and repair of electrical wiring, power distribution systems, and associated components. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair aircraft electrical systems, including wiring, power generation, and distribution.
• Perform diagnostic tests on electrical components and systems to identify faults.
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to guide repair and installation work.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with aviation standards, regulations, and company procedures.
• Conduct pre-flight checks of aircraft electrical systems.
• Document all work performed, including inspections, repairs, and modifications, in the aircraft maintenance log.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Electrician or in a similar aviation electrical role.
• Strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems, AC/DC power, and avionics integration.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and testing equipment for electrical systems.
• A commitment to safety, quality, and precision in all aspects of work.
• Relevant certifications or vocational training in aviation electrical systems are highly desirable.
