About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Aircraft Electrician to join their maintenance operations based in Brighton . This role requires expertise in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex aircraft electrical systems and components. You will ensure that all electrical systems are functioning correctly and safely, adhering to strict aviation standards. This is a crucial role for maintaining aircraft operational integrity and safety, contributing to the reliable performance of aircraft managed by our client in the Brighton area.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, and repair aircraft electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, power distribution units, and avionics equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals, and perform necessary repairs efficiently.
• Interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and technical publications to guide maintenance activities.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved maintenance data and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain detailed records of all electrical system maintenance, repairs, and inspections performed.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure the overall airworthiness and functionality of the aircraft.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Electrician or Avionics Technician in an aviation maintenance environment.
• Strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems, AC/DC power, and avionics principles.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and test equipment used in aircraft electrical systems.
