About the Role
Our client, a premier aviation maintenance and support company, is seeking a skilled Aircraft Electrician to join their dedicated team in Oxford . This role is vital for ensuring the electrical systems of various aircraft are functioning optimally and safely. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of complex electrical systems, wiring harnesses, and components. Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft electrical systems, including wiring, power distribution, lighting, and avionics components.
- Interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance instructions accurately.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on electrical systems and identify potential faults or wear.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with aviation safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of all electrical maintenance activities, including parts used and labor hours.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Aircraft Electrician or in a related electrical maintenance role within the aviation sector.
- Strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems, AC/DC power, and avionics principles.
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
