About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Aircraft Interior Specialist to join their maintenance and refurbishment team in Portsmouth . This role involves the meticulous repair, refurbishment, and installation of aircraft cabin interiors, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, comfort, and aesthetics. You will work with a variety of materials and techniques to enhance the passenger experience. This is a hands-on role for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring aircraft cabins are in pristine condition, contributing to a company renowned for its quality of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and refurbishment of aircraft cabin components, including seats, sidewalls, galleys, and lavatories.
• Install new interior components and systems, ensuring they meet design specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Work with a variety of materials such as composites, plastics, fabrics, and leather, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
• Conduct inspections of cabin interiors to identify damage, wear, or potential safety hazards.
• Ensure all work performed complies with aviation safety regulations and client specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to workshop and site safety procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in aircraft interior maintenance, refurbishment, or a related field (e.g., upholstery, cabinet making, composites).
• Familiarity with different types of aircraft cabin materials and their associated repair techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance manuals .
• Strong practical skills with hand and power tools.
