About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous Aircraft Interior Systems Installer to join their dedicated team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is crucial for fitting and assembling a wide range of interior components and systems within aircraft cabins, ensuring they meet stringent quality, safety, and aesthetic standards. You will work with various materials, including plastics, composites, and fabrics, to install seating, galleys, lavatories, and in-flight entertainment systems. The ideal candidate will possess excellent manual dexterity, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship in a demanding aviation manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, modify, and repair aircraft interior components such as seats, overhead bins, galleys, and lavatories.
• Fit and assemble electrical, plumbing, and entertainment systems within the aircraft cabin.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals.
• Ensure all installations comply with aircraft specifications, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
• Perform quality checks on completed installations, identifying and rectifying any defects.
• Collaborate with project managers and fellow technicians to meet project deadlines and production targets at the Stoke-on-Trent site.

Requirements

• Experience in aircraft interior installation or a similar field requiring precision assembly.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to the installation of interior systems.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and engineering drawings.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail for precise fitting and finishing.
• Understanding of aviation safety regulations and quality standards.
• A background in carpentry, electrical fitting, or composite work within a manufacturing setting is beneficial for this aerospace role.
