Aircraft Interior Technician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Aircraft Interior Technician to join their dedicated maintenance team in Liverpool, Merseyside . This role focuses on the refurbishment, repair, and installation of aircraft cabin interiors, ensuring passenger comfort and safety standards are met. You will work on a variety of aircraft types, handling tasks ranging from minor repairs to complete cabin overhauls. This position requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency with tools and materials, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship in a dynamic aviation MRO environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and modifications to aircraft cabin interior components, including seating, galleys, lavatories, overhead bins, and sidewalls.
• Install new interior components and systems according to approved technical documentation and aircraft specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on aircraft cabin interiors.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety, adhering to strict aviation regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other technicians and engineers to ensure efficient project completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Interior Technician or in a related field such as carpentry, upholstery, or composite repair.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment used in aircraft interior maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
• Strong practical skills in working with various materials like fabrics, leather, composites, plastics, and metals.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently on assigned tasks in Liverpool .
