About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and certified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Licensed) to join their dynamic engineering team based in Birmingham . You will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a fleet of modern aircraft, ensuring airworthiness and operational readiness. This role is essential for maintaining the safety and efficiency of flight operations, requiring a proactive approach and a deep understanding of aircraft systems. Key Responsibilities
- Perform line and base maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and component replacements.
- Diagnose and rectify defects in aircraft systems, structures, and engines according to approved data.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with EASA Part-145 regulations and company procedures.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of all maintenance performed in the aircraft logbooks and maintenance records.
- Collaborate effectively with flight crew, operations, and other engineering disciplines.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and safety in the workshop and hangar environments.
Requirements
- Hold a valid EASA Part-66 AML (Aircraft Maintenance License) with relevant type ratings.
- Proven experience in aircraft maintenance on commercial or corporate aircraft.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems, structures, engines, and avionics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
