About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team based in Sunderland . You will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness and operational readiness of a diverse fleet of aircraft through meticulous inspections, servicing, and repairs. This hands-on role is critical to maintaining the highest safety standards in the aviation industry. Working on-site, you will collaborate closely with fellow technicians, engineers, and operations personnel to keep our fleet in peak condition.

Key Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft systems and structures.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with aviation regulations , company policies, and manufacturer specifications.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance performed, including parts used and time spent.
Conduct functional tests and ground runs to verify the effectiveness of repairs and modifications.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment in the hangar.

Requirements

Hold a recognized aviation maintenance qualification (e.g., EASA Part-66 license or equivalent).
Proven experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician , preferably with experience on specific aircraft types relevant to our fleet.
Strong understanding of aircraft systems, including airframe, engine, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in using maintenance manuals, technical documentation, and diagnostic tools.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Commitment to safety, quality, and meticulous attention to detail in all tasks performed at our Sunderland facility.
