About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent and skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team based in Sunderland . You will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness and operational readiness of a diverse fleet of aircraft through meticulous inspections, servicing, and repairs. This hands-on role is critical to maintaining the highest safety standards in the aviation industry. Working on-site, you will collaborate closely with fellow technicians, engineers, and operations personnel to keep our fleet in peak condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft systems and structures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with aviation regulations , company policies, and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance performed, including parts used and time spent.
- Conduct functional tests and ground runs to verify the effectiveness of repairs and modifications.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment in the hangar.
Requirements
- Hold a recognized aviation maintenance qualification (e.g., EASA Part-66 license or equivalent).
- Proven experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician , preferably with experience on specific aircraft types relevant to our fleet.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems, including airframe, engine, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in using maintenance manuals, technical documentation, and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and meticulous attention to detail in all tasks performed at our Sunderland facility.
