About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and certified Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join their dedicated engineering team in Edinburgh . This hands-on role is essential for ensuring the airworthiness and operational readiness of their aircraft fleet. You will perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs, adhering strictly to manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft structures, engines, and systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, implementing effective repair solutions.
- Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to guide maintenance activities.
- Document all maintenance actions accurately in the aircraft logbooks and maintenance records.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician .
- Valid EASA Part-66 AML (Aircraft Maintenance Licence) or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various aircraft systems (e.g., avionics, hydraulics, engines).
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations and maintenance best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail in Edinburgh .
