Aircraft Mech (Nights)

MPI have requirements for Skilled and Experienced Aircraft Mechanic's to work nights on site at Luton Airport.

Hours Monday - Friday 21:15 - 07:00 47.5hrs pw

Half hour unpaid lunch.

Start: Oct/Nov 2026

Duration: Until May/June 2027

These roles are deemed in scope of IR35

No personal tooling is required as this is controlled by the company on-site.

Duties

Performing heavy base maintenance/'C' checks on aircraft Experience required:

Previous experience on Boeing Fleet preferred along with the following: Experience in carrying out major Hangar Work Able to work unsupervised Good Hand Skills C Checks Landing Gear removal and refit Changing Brakes Fault Finding & Rectification work on systems hydraulics and pneumatics/air con

Because this role is based airside, if selected, the candidate would have to undergo a Full Airside Pass. This entails having to reference the individual for the last 5 years of employment/education. A Criminal Record Check (CRC) would also have to be obtained from any country resided/worked in for 6 months or more within the last 5 years.
