Aircraft Mechanic (Line Maintenance)

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and reliable Aircraft Mechanic to join their busy line maintenance team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is critical for ensuring that aircraft are maintained to the highest safety standards between flights, performing routine checks, minor repairs, and servicing. You will be part of a dedicated team ensuring the swift turnaround of aircraft, upholding stringent safety protocols, and contributing to the overall operational efficiency of the airline. This is an excellent hands-on opportunity for a qualified mechanic looking to work within a respected aviation company.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, servicing, and minor repairs on aircraft as per the aircraft maintenance program and relevant technical documentation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues that arise during line operations.
• Carry out pre-flight, transit, and post-flight checks and complete associated paperwork accurately.
• Replace or repair defective parts and components according to approved maintenance data.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all company and regulatory safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with flight crews, engineers, and other maintenance personnel.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Mechanic , preferably in line maintenance.
• Hold relevant aviation maintenance certifications or qualifications (e.g., EASA Part-66 B1 or B2 license, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and mechanical components.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, in Stoke-on-Trent .
