About the Role
Our client is recruiting a skilled Aircraft Systems Technician to join their expanding maintenance team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role focuses on the specialized maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex aircraft systems, including avionics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. You will work with cutting-edge technology to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of the aircraft fleet. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technician with a deep understanding of aircraft electrical and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of aircraft electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic data to identify and resolve system faults.
- Install, test, and calibrate aircraft system components and modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance performed, including parts used and time spent.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and quality standards applicable to aircraft maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Aircraft Systems Technician or a related avionics/electrical role.
- Strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems, avionics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Proficiency in using specialized test equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to read and understand complex technical documentation and schematics.
- Relevant technical qualifications or apprenticeship in aerospace electrical or avionics systems.
