About the Role

Our client is looking for a sharp and analytical Aircraft Performance Analyst to join their team in Milton Keynes . This role is integral to optimizing flight operations by analyzing complex performance data, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to enhance fuel efficiency and operational reliability. You will work with large datasets, cutting-edge software, and collaborate closely with flight operations, engineering, and network planning departments. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyze vast amounts of aircraft performance data , including fuel burn, flight times, and engine parameters.
• Develop and implement models to predict aircraft performance and identify potential operational inefficiencies.
• Create detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders across various departments.
• Collaborate with flight crews and technical teams to validate data and implement performance improvement initiatives.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in aerodynamics , engine technology, and operational best practices.
• Contribute to the development of tools and systems for real-time performance monitoring and analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience in data analysis and modeling, preferably within the aviation industry.
• Strong proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python) and database management.
• Excellent understanding of aircraft systems and flight dynamics principles.
• Ability to translate complex technical data into actionable business insights.
• Effective communication and presentation skills for a hybrid work environment .
