About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Aircraft Performance Analyst to join their forward-thinking team, working remotely and supporting operations based out of Bristol . This role is vital for optimizing flight operations, fuel efficiency, and overall aircraft performance. You will analyze vast amounts of flight data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of aviation performance metrics, and the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze flight data to assess aircraft performance, fuel efficiency, and operational costs.
- Develop and maintain performance models and algorithms for various aircraft types.
- Identify opportunities for performance improvement and cost reduction in flight operations.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on aircraft performance findings for management and operational teams.
- Collaborate with flight operations, engineering, and maintenance departments to implement performance-enhancing strategies.
Requirements
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience in aircraft performance analysis or a similar data-intensive role in aviation.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
- Strong understanding of flight dynamics, aerodynamics, and aircraft systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for remote collaboration .
