About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Aircraft Structures Engineer to join their innovative engineering division in Manchester . Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design modifications for aircraft components using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software.
• Conduct stress analysis, fatigue life assessment, and damage tolerance evaluations for composite and metallic structures.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports for structural repairs and upgrades.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and maintenance teams to ensure seamless implementation of structural designs.
• Support certification activities by providing necessary documentation and analysis for regulatory approval.
• Investigate structural failures or incidents, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.

Requirements

• Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in aircraft structures design, analysis, or maintenance.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as ANSYS, NASTRAN, or similar FEA tools.
• Solid understanding of material science, including composites and advanced metallic alloys used in aerospace.
• Experience with aircraft repair schemes and understanding of airworthiness regulations.
• Excellent technical communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for a hybrid work environment.
