About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Aircraft Structures Technician to join their team in Southampton . This role involves inspecting, repairing, and fabricating aircraft structural components to ensure the integrity and airworthiness of the fleet. You will work in a collaborative environment, applying precision and technical skill to maintain the highest standards of aircraft safety. Key Responsibilities

• Inspect aircraft structures for damage, corrosion, and fatigue using visual and non-destructive testing methods.
• Perform repairs and modifications to aircraft structures according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Fabricate and fit structural components using various materials and techniques.
• Maintain accurate records of all structural maintenance and repair activities.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve structural issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Structures Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft materials, such as aluminum alloys, composites, and steel.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and fabrication tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in aircraft structures.
