About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented Aircraft Systems Integration Engineer to join their dedicated engineering team in Oxford . This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless interaction and functionality of various complex systems within modern aircraft. You will be responsible for defining system architectures, managing interfaces, and overseeing the integration process from design through to flight testing. Key Responsibilities
- Define and manage system requirements and architectures for integrated aircraft systems.
- Oversee the integration of various subsystems, including avionics, power, and environmental control systems.
- Develop and execute integration test plans and procedures, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with subsystem engineers, manufacturers, and test teams to ensure successful integration.
- Document system integration processes, results, and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and airworthiness requirements throughout the integration lifecycle.
Requirements
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in aircraft systems integration or a similar role in aerospace.
- Strong understanding of aircraft subsystems and their interdependencies.
- Experience with systems engineering principles and methodologies (e.g., MBSE, SysML).
- Familiarity with aircraft testing, validation, and certification processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
