About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Systems Integration Engineer to join their innovative team in Oxford . This role is critical for ensuring the seamless interaction and functionality of various complex aircraft systems, including avionics, power plant, and airframe systems. You will be responsible for defining system requirements, developing integration strategies, and overseeing testing and validation processes. Key Responsibilities
- Define and manage requirements for integrated aircraft systems, ensuring compatibility and interoperability.
- Develop system integration plans, test procedures, and validation strategies.
- Oversee the integration of various aircraft subsystems (e.g., flight controls, avionics, hydraulics, electrical).
- Conduct system-level testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve integration issues.
- Collaborate closely with subsystem engineers, software developers, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful integration.
- Document system integration processes, test results, and performance analyses.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant experience in aircraft systems engineering and integration within the aerospace industry.
- Strong understanding of aircraft architecture, system interfaces, and interdependencies.
- Experience with system modeling, simulation, and testing tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
