About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Aircraft Avionics Technician to join their dedicated maintenance team in Stoke-on-Trent . Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, calibrate, and repair aircraft avionics and electronic systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and preventive repairs on avionic components.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications, company policies, and aviation regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and testing activities performed.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and engineers to resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Avionics Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems, navigation, communication, and flight control systems.
• Proficiency in using test equipment, tools, and diagnostic software relevant to avionics.
• Familiarity with aviation regulations and maintenance procedures (e.g., EASA, FAA).
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
