About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Aircraft Avionics Technician to join their dedicated maintenance team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is essential for maintaining the complex electronic systems that are critical for modern aircraft operation, safety, and navigation. You will be responsible for the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of avionics equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, test, calibrate, and repair aircraft avionics and electronic systems.
- Diagnose malfunctions using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and preventive repairs on avionic components.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications, company policies, and aviation regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and testing activities performed.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and engineers to resolve complex technical issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Aircraft Avionics Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems, navigation, communication, and flight control systems.
- Proficiency in using test equipment, tools, and diagnostic software relevant to avionics.
- Familiarity with aviation regulations and maintenance procedures (e.g., EASA, FAA).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
