Animator (2D/3D)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and adaptable Animator with expertise in both 2D and 3D animation techniques to join their creative team in Liverpool . You will play a key role in bringing characters and motion graphics to life across a variety of exciting projects, from animated shorts to interactive content. This position requires a strong understanding of animation principles, the ability to work across different styles, and a passion for creating visually compelling motion. You'll collaborate with a team of artists and designers to deliver high-quality animated assets that engage and entertain audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D and 3D animations for characters, objects, and motion graphics.
• Interpret storyboards and scripts to produce dynamic and engaging animated sequences.
• Collaborate with the art and design teams to ensure animation style and quality meet project requirements.
• Optimize animation assets for performance and integration into various platforms.
• Apply principles of timing, spacing, and weight to create believable and appealing motion.
• Assist in the development and refinement of animation pipelines and workflows.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Animator , with a portfolio showcasing both 2D and 3D animation work.
• Proficiency in industry-standard animation software such as Maya, Blender, Toon Boom Harmony, or Adobe Animate.
• Solid understanding of animation principles, including character rigging and keyframing.
• Ability to adapt to different artistic styles and project needs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished animation.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, necessary for collaboration in Liverpool .
