About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and passionate Animator to join their creative team. You will be responsible for bringing characters and objects to life through high-quality animation for various media, including video games, animated shorts, and marketing content. This role requires a strong understanding of animation principles, excellent technical skills, and a creative flair for storytelling. You will collaborate closely with designers, directors, and other artists, with a hybrid working model that balances studio collaboration and individual creative freedom, fostering an environment of innovation and artistic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Create fluid and expressive character and object animations for 2D or 3D projects.
- Work closely with character designers and directors to interpret and realize animation concepts.
- Implement animation using industry-standard software, ensuring adherence to project style and technical requirements.
- Ensure all animations are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and refine animations based on feedback from the team and clients.
- Stay updated with the latest animation techniques and software advancements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Animator , with a strong portfolio showcasing your animation skills and reel.
- Proficiency in animation software such as Maya, Blender, 3ds Max (for 3D), or Adobe Animate, After Effects (for 2D).
- Solid understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, anticipation, and weight.
- Experience with rigging and character setup is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience in a hybrid work setting.
- Degree in Animation, Fine Arts, or a related field is beneficial.
