About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Appliance Repair Technician to serve the Bradford area. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of domestic appliances, ensuring our clients' homes remain functional and comfortable. This hands-on role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair common faults in domestic appliances, including washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, and dishwashers.
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing to ensure optimal appliance performance and longevity.
• Identify faulty parts and arrange for replacements, ensuring compatibility and quality.
• Provide clear explanations to customers regarding the repair process, costs, and preventative measures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work van, stocked with necessary tools and common replacement parts.
• Accurately complete service reports and collect payments upon completion of work.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Appliance Repair Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems related to domestic appliances.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of appliance brands and models.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Must possess a valid UK driving license and a good geographical knowledge of the Bradford region.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, to meet customer needs.
