About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and aspiring Apprentice Graphic Designer to join their busy design studio in Cardiff . This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for visual communication to build a career in graphic design. You will work under the guidance of experienced designers, learning the fundamentals of design principles, software tools, and creative processes. This role provides invaluable hands-on experience in producing high-quality visual assets for a range of media, contributing to the brand's visual identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of visually engaging designs for print and digital media, including brochures, social media graphics, and website assets.
- Learn and utilize design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Support the design team in conceptualizing and developing creative ideas for various projects.
- Prepare design files for print production and digital deployment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Help maintain brand consistency across all visual communications.
- Organize and manage design assets and project files effectively.
Requirements
- A portfolio showcasing creative potential and design concepts (even if academic or personal projects).
- Basic understanding of design principles (layout, typography, color theory).
- Familiarity with or a strong willingness to learn design software like Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing content.
- Good communication skills and the ability to receive constructive feedback.
